About us

Ben Calderoni
A dual citizen of Mexico and the U.S., and a 30-year resident of Latin America, the bi-lingual Ben Calderoni first established a realty office with two other partners in San Miguel de Allende in the year 2002, easily bridging the Mexican National and expat real estate market. An ex-oil field executive and University of Texas business graduate, Ben’s 33 years as a real estate broker (Houston/San Miguel) includes finely- honed pro-forma skills necessary in assessing commercial property opportunities-and realistic residential valuations-which aided him to become the sole broker for both buyer and seller of the 5-star boutique Hotel Matilda. Ben also represented the Mexico City-based sellers of the 14 acre Aristos Hotel site and sold it to a developer from Virginia. After securing all city permits for development in record time, he re-sold the property to the Aspen Group which was responsible for the development of the Artesana Villas and the 5-star Rosewood San Miguel site.
Ben continues to bring energy, enthusiasm, and innovation to the sales experience for both buyers and sellers.
